Visualizing Wholesale Cannabis Products

What’s the best way to name your products? Are there any buzz words you should be including in the description? And what can you say about a product that really makes it stand out?

LeafLink Insights decided to break it down for brands. We split the 55,000+ active SKUs on LeafLink into categories, then looked at the words most commonly used for each. For example, for Topicals products, the word “skin” was used most frequently – 897 times, to be exact. For Edibles, on the other hand, the word “chocolate” was most common (used 4,221 times).

Wholesale Cannabis Categories at a Glance

Next, we took a deeper look at three of our most popular categories: Flower, Cartridges, and Concentrates. While the descriptions varied based on category, all three had the terms “CBD” and “High” in the top 10.

Below is the frequency breakdown for each of these categories, ranked from 1 to 10 (1 being the most used), alongside the number of times the word was used.
