September 2022 Product Spotlight

Payments Activation in CRM

Sellers now have the ability to activate buyers that are set to “Do Not Process” to LeafLink Payments from directly within their Marketplace CRM. Following this activation, LeafLink Payments will be the default payment method between that buyer and seller, and will be indicated as such on their Marketplace invoices. Additionally, any applicable invoices from the newly activated buyer will automatically show up on the seller’s Eligible Invoices page within Payments, from which they can follow the current workflow of assigning the invoice to the buyer for delivery confirmation.

Buy It Again

Buyers now have access to a Buy It Again page, giving them central access to their recent purchase history, from which they can easily add to cart and repurchase within the same workflow, and without having to leave the page. With Buy It Again, retailers can decrease the amount of time it takes to place a reorder, and meet product demand of their customers more quickly.

In addition to Purchase History, the Buy It Again page also houses “Store Favorites” (see below for more information).

Store Favorites

Buyers can now save their favorite products and turn them into a cohesive shopping list, by clicking on the “heart” icon on the Brand Menu, Shop Products, or Buy It Again Pages. This helps enable quick access to a central area where buyers can review all the products they have shortlisted to consider purchasing at a later point in time, without the hassle of having to sift through the LeafLink marketplace. Easily find the products you already know you want!


Plaid Bank Account Linking

LeafLink has partnered with Plaid, a highly secure online banking solution provider, to seamlessly connect your bank account to LeafLink without leaving the platform. Prior to this release, users that went to link their bank accounts through the platform would receive an email to begin their workflow, increasing the number of clicks and time needed to attach an account. Plaid powers some of the largest fintech companies in the world, and this partnership ensures that our customers are using a notable, trusted tool that many are familiar with to simplify their bank account linking process in the most secure way.


Facility Inventory Enhancements

Sellers using our Facility Inventory feature can now specify a distribution zone for each of their facilities, and set the boundaries at the zip code level. This is especially useful for large sellers whose distribution facilities are within close proximity to each other, and need an indicator that will serve as a better distinction between the different facilities that still reside in the same city. Facility inventory gives sellers more control over where their products are distributed, enables a consistent inventory management experience across regions, and ensures that LeafLink orders are fulfilled by the distribution facility that is closest to the respective buyer – saving them a substantial amount of time and money.

Product Expiration Date Visibility

Retail fulfillment customers can now see product expiration dates directly in LeafLink. We’ve also built a freshness countdown that displays how much time remains until a product expires. Cannabis products are perishable, and a product that has expired is not attractive to consumers. With this feature, buyers can now strategically identify the older products that should be sent to a store first, and which products have more time to sell. This ensures that inventory investments have ample opportunity to yield a profit, with increased visibility into the warehoused inventory.
