It’s Time for March Dankness: Here’s How to Play

Cannabis enthusiasts, March Madness is upon us and there’s no better time to bring cannabis into the mix. This year LeafLink is hosting a March Dankness Bracket and we want to hear about your favorite forms of consuming cannabis. And this isn’t just any bracket; it’s your chance to rally for your favorite ways to enjoy the herb and crown the ultimate champion. Starting this week, and for the next four weeks, we will be opening up voting to find the true winner. 

What is March Dankness and How Does it Work?

March Dankness is the bracket game where the spirit of friendly competition meets the cannabis community. It’s our ode to all the different vessels and methods that deliver the goodness of ganja to you. From the traditional joints, to edibles, to vapes, to concentrates, every favorite will have its chance to shine in the green glow of victory.

Starting March 6th, we will open up voting on the dedicated landing page here. Consumption methods in four divisions will go head-to-head to decide who will move on to the next round. At the end of each week, we will tally the voting and narrow down the bracket. We’ll do this every week for four weeks, aka, until the last week of March. At the end of March, we’ll announce the ultimate winner and crowd favorite. 

Did we mention that the bracket champion won’t be the only winner? Each week, your voting submission will enter you into a drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card. At the end of the game, we’ll draw for an overall winner who will receive a $100 Visa gift card, so each week you play increases your odds of taking home a prize.

How to Participate in the March Dankness Bracket

Deciding the champion is a task of epic proportions, and it can only be achieved with your help. The tournament will comprise several rounds, and each week, you’ll have the opportunity to cast your vote. But how?

1. Mark Your Calendars: You won’t want to miss your chance to participate. We’ll be sending out emails weekly to remind everyone to vote. Set a weekly alarm if you have to!
2. Visit the Dedicated Landing Page: When the voting window opens, head to the dedicated voting page and make your voice heard. The consumption methods going head-to-head will be posted and all it takes is a few clicks to cast your vote!
3. The Showdown Begins: Watch the emotions rise as the month-long voting period commences.
4. Champion Your Champion: Whether it’s through social media or old-fashioned water cooler banter, spread the word about your pick. Every vote counts, and you can be the influencer who swings the tide.

The Bracket Structure

Different than the traditional bracket structure, there’s no need to create your own bracket. Just pick your favorites each week and watch as the game progresses!

• Round One: The initial bracket will pit almost all methods like the joint and pipe against newer choices like vaporizers and edibles. It’s time to separate the old reliables from the crowd-pleasing innovations and choose your top 8.
• Round Two: The cream rises to the top as the competition heats up. Those first-round winners will compete against each other, and the debates will likely become more passionate and personal, narrowing the bracket pool to the final 4.
• Semi-Finals: We’re down to the last standing winners. This is where tensions get palpable, and it’s anyone’s game. Choose your 2 finalists! 
• The Final Showdown: Week after week, votes have poured in, and now we’re ready for the finale. Which method will emerge victorious, endorsed by the community it serves? It’s your loyalty and your clicks that will crown the final winner.
