Prices for Concentrates continue to decrease
Average prices for Concentrates are down again, decreasing by 3% on average each week to end the month 8.7% lower than the previous high set towards the end of 2021. Flower prices have remained more consistent over the past month, with an average 0.8% increase each week to end just 3% higher than at the conclusion of December.
Edibles & Ingestibles are gaining market share
Edibles and Ingestibles saw the greatest increase in market share in January, gaining 1.8 percentage points from December to reach 18.7% of the total market on LeafLink. The category last led in market share growth just a few months ago in October 2021.
It’s still a great time to be selling Flower in Missouri
Last month, we highlighted that Missouri had the least competitive product category in the country for the fifth month in a row, with Flower being sold by just 30% of brands and making up 67% of all sales. January makes it 6 in a row, as Flower was sold by 33% of brands and made up 55% of all sales in the state.
